Lower Subansiri District emerged as the champion in the Men’s Football event at the 4th Arunachal State Games-2025, securing a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Upper Subansiri District in the final held at the Golden Jubilee Stadium, Yupia.
The match, played on 22nd April 2025, witnessed a high level of competition and sportsmanship. Lower Subansiri’s triumph was made possible through the efforts of Shri Yachang Kani and Shri Landi Murchi, each contributing one goal to the team’s score. Despite a strong showing from Upper Subansiri, they were unable to overcome the determined performance of the champions.
The winning team was ably guided by Team Manager Shri Mohendra Goswami and Coach Shri Duyu Bida, whose leadership and strategic direction played a crucial role in the team’s success.
