DC Reviews Implementation of Atma Nirbhar Schemes and DDUSY, Distributes Appreciation Certificates to Bankers

In a bid to strengthen the effective implementation of the Atma Nirbhar Schemes and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swavalamban Yojana (DDUSY) in Lower Subansiri district, Deputy Commissioner Smti Oli Perme convened a Special District Level Review Committee (DLRC) Meeting with bankers and line department officials at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hall, Ziro, on Wednesday.

The meeting was aimed at reviewing the progress and ensuring seamless and timely disbursal of loan amounts to beneficiaries under these flagship self-reliance schemes. Addressing the gathering, DC Oli Perme directed all banks and concerned departments to adopt a proactive approach in implementing the schemes and to maintain efficiency and transparency throughout the process.

She emphasized the urgency of timely execution by setting a clear deadline of July 15, 2025, for the clearance of all pending applications under Atma Nirbhar and DDUSY schemes. She urged all stakeholders to avoid unnecessary delays and ensure that beneficiaries receive support on time.

As a mark of encouragement, DC Perme also distributed appreciation certificates to bank managers who had successfully achieved their disbursal targets. She commended their efforts and encouraged other bank officials to emulate their performance and commitment.

During the meeting, Shri Lalit Kr. Maurya, District Development Manager, NABARD, highlighted various credit facilities and beneficiary schemes available through scheduled banks, encouraging financial institutions to increase outreach and awareness among the public.

The meeting was also attended by District Planning Officer Joram Tatum, Lead District Manager Pankaj Rai, District Agriculture Officer Tasso Butung, and bank managers from various financial institutions operating in the district.

The review meeting underscored the administration’s commitment to supporting self-employment initiatives and ensuring that government welfare schemes reach the grassroots effectively and efficiently.
