Ziro, Arunachal Pradesh – Cadet Puna Saalyang, a student of the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun, has successfully cleared all stages of the National Defence Academy (NDA) selection process for the Indian Air Force (Fighter Pilot).
On March 27, 2025, he completed his final medical tests at the Air Force Hospital, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi, after undergoing a rigorous four-day evaluation. This follows his success in the NDA written examination and the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
With this achievement, Cadet Saalyang has earned his place at the NDA, where he will undergo further training to become a Fighter Pilot in the Indian Air Force. His success marks a proud moment for Arunachal Pradesh, inspiring many young aspirants who dream of serving the nation.
